About Me

Back in 2012, two years after having my daughter, I decided to go back to college. It was a challenge for me as I had a child under the age of 3, and to top it off, I lacked confidence in my abilities. Yet, I found that when I took myself out of my comfort zone, I achieved far beyond what I expected. I ended up doing exceptionally well at college and then went on to university where I gained a diploma, at a distinction level, in Education and Social Policy. Although I flourished, I still lacked confidence in my abilities.

You see, I have been out of the workforce for several years, so the thought of starting a blog was daunting – especially as I am dyslexic, but I’m a mother with dreams, goals, and aspirations – AND – have a strong desire to become a better version of myself. So, whilst we were in lockdown, I decided to face my fears head-on and begin the process of starting my blog.

The name Never Too Late To Blossom came about because I was a late achiever. Most of my accomplishments happened later in life. So, I wanted to create a platform to inspire and encourage mothers to let them know that no matter what their age or circumstances are, it is never too late to blossom in life.

What you’ll find on this blog

So, now you know a little bit about me; here’s what I want to do for you.

We live in a world where if you haven’t achieved certain goals by a certain age, you may feel like a failure and are possibly frowned upon. On this blog, you will find inspirational and encouraging stories and tips and tricks to help you achieve in life no matter what your age or situation is.

You will find tips on how to build up your confidence, become more successful and be the person you are destined to be in my blossom series. As you can see from my story, these are areas that I desire to blossom in too. So, I will take you on my journey as I conquer the areas that I struggle in.

Blossom – definition

When people blossom, they become more attractive, successful or confident…

Being a mother comes with its challenges. One of those is managing your time. There are so many tasks you must complete, throughout the day, for your children that you can sometimes neglect the tasks you have to do for yourself.

Having that balanced life is something that I have longed to achieve, so I will do my best to come up with ways to make your life easier. My desire is for you to not only have time for your children but also time for yourself.

Problems I will help you solve

  • So, if you’re beating yourself up about not achieving goals by a certain age, this blog is for you.
  • If you have let fear, insecurities and unbelief prevent you from moving forward, this blog is for you.
