Welcome To Keeping It Real
Hi,
Welcome to my first Keeping it Real post!
I will do my best to keep it short and sweet – no promises though. I was always the one in college that exceeded the word limit 🤦🏾♀️.
So, why did I create this space? I wanted somewhere I could keep it real with you – be honest and clear about what works and what doesn’t. A space where I can share my thoughts and feelings about topics or just about life in general – in a less rigid and structured way.
Starting My Blog
For the last month, I have been working countless hours striving to launch this blog. Trust me, it hasn’t been easy. It has been a rollercoaster ride of a few ups and several downs. But, one thing was for sure, I wasn’t about to give up on my dream (read my post on why I launched later than I intended). I was going to see it through until the end.
You see, I’m new to this blogging world. I’m not a web designer. I’m not a professional writer. I don’t know much about marketing, SEO (search engine optimisation) or Google Analytics, and I don’t have a degree in business. I’m just a mum with a dream who loves to research, write and is on a journey of bettering myself.
I might get things wrong sometimes
There will be times when I get things wrong. I may write a post that doesn’t meet everyone’s standards, I may use the wrong photos, and I may not respond to comments quickly enough. So, if these things or others happen, bear with me.
Never Too Late to Blossom is a platform to empower and equip mothers. It’s about building mothers up not tearing them down. So, if you have feedback or constructed criticism, drop me a comment or send me an email. If you have suggestions about my content or my website, I’m open to hearing your thoughts. This is a journey! One that is not just about me, but it’s also about you. So, with your support, I will get better with time.
Anyway, I didn’t want to write a long post, so I will love you and leave you, but please feel free to follow me on Twitter and Pinterest, subscribe and drop a comment below.
